Returns & Refunds Policy

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Please read the following carefully to ensure you are fully aware of your rights under this policy and our obligations to you.

When We Accept Returns

Battery Gold Coast will not provide a refund or replacement where consumer guarantees do not apply for example, if you got what you asked for but have simply changed your mind, found it cheaper somewhere else, decided you didn't like the purchase, or had no use for it. However, you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem.

Battery Gold Coast will accept returns and provide you with an exchange voucher, refund (using your original payment method), or replacement where:
  • The item is faulty or is not of acceptable quality
  • The item is unsafe
  • The item is not fit for its intended purpose
  • The product does not match the sample or our description
Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value. If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is
not repaired in a reasonable time, you can choose a refund or replacement.

Please keep your proof of purchase for example, your receipt.

Proof of Purchase

If you cannot provide proof of purchase, you may provide a bank statement showing the transaction or a photo of the receipt. In the event that there is no way to determine that the product was purchased from Battery Gold Coast, it will be at our discretion whether we provide a refund or replacement.
In some instances, Battery Gold Coast may elect to return the product to the manufacturer's repair agent to determine the nature of the problem. We reserve the right not to offer an exchange voucher, refund, or repair where the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect.

Due to the nature of the products we sell, shipping your return is not possible. You will need to return the product in question to our Varsity Lakes showroom at:

In some instances, if you are unable to get to Battery Gold Coast, a representative may be able to come to you. However, there may be a call-out fee that applies.
